Digital4Climate is the first Belgian study to provide scientific figures, practical examples and recommendations on the potential of digital technologies to reduce CO2 emissions in Belgium.
The study focuses in particular on the carbon reduction potential of digital technologies in the four most carbon-intensive sectors: industry, buildings, mobility and logistics, and finally the energy sector.
One of the conclusions is that the positive impact of 15 applications of digital technologies in these sectors is no less than five times larger than the total digital footprint by 2030.
So it’s high time to move up a gear in the digital and green transition!
